张仪带着厚礼拜见楚怀王，说秦国愿意把商于之地六百里（今河南淅川、内江一带）送与楚国，只要楚能绝齐之盟。怀王一听，觉得有利可图：一得了地盘，二削弱了齐国，三又可与强秦结盟。于是不顾大臣的反对，痛痛快快地答应了。怀王派逢侯丑与张仪赴秦，签订条约。二人快到咸阳的时候，张仪假装喝醉酒，从车上掉下来，回家养伤。逢侯丑只得在馆驿住下。过了几天，逢侯丑见不到张仪，只得上书秦王。秦王回信说：既然有约定，寡人当然遵守。但是楚未绝齐，怎能随 便签约呢？
逢侯丑派人向楚怀王汇报，怀王哪里知道秦国早已设下圈套，立即派人到齐国，大骂齐王，于是齐国绝楚和秦。
这时，张仪的“病”也好了，碰到逢侯丑，说：“咦，你怎么还没有回国？”逢侯丑说：“正要同你一起去见秦王，谈送商于之地一事。”张仪却说：“这点小事，不要秦王亲自央定。我当时已说将我的奉邑六里，送给楚王，我说了就成了。”逢侯丑说：“你说的是商于六百里！”张仪故作惊讶：“哪里的话！秦国土地都是征战所得，岂能随意送人？你们听错了吧！”
逢侯丑无奈，只得回报楚怀王。怀王大怒，发兵攻秦。可是现在秦齐已经结盟，在两国夹击之下，楚军大败，秦军尽取汉中之地六百里。最后，怀王只得割地求和。

Finding the Right One
In a choice of a partner leading to a lifetime commitment, its good to start planning out how to find the right one.
It is important to list down your priorities in a partner you are looking for, be it physical, character and emotion. The importance of this can be likened unto going out to buy a television set without knowing what you really want. There are several models out there and they all are going to look nice. If you don’t know what you want, chances are you are going to end up with the wrong one. If you plan before hand, such as if you want it with an LCD screen, certain budget, size of the screen, resolution etc it will be easy for you to find what you want and get the best deal.
List down everything you are looking for in a partner and then read it to yourself, you will know what you really want then. So when you are out meeting potential partners, you will find it easier to eliminate the ones who are not in your preference list. For example, if you like children and your potential partner can’t stand children, he or she is obviously not a good choice. Be willing to adjust your list if you learn that it can be shown grace such as not eliminating a potential partner if he or she does not meet minor criteria.
I know a friend who said she would not list down the criteria because God knows what she wants and will find the right partner for her. She is 32, very attractive and had been in and out of a few wrong relationships. So what went wrong? I believe God knows what she wants, but I don’t think she does.
Like produces like, that means everything produces after itself. A durian tree cannot produce mangosteen fruit. If you want a skinny, attractive, and intelligent partner etc, make sure you spruce yourself up to be attractive enough for your potential mate.

Well it’s that time of the year we pen down our list of things we want to achieve for the following year. Most people after sometime, give up on their new year resolution or recycle last year’s resolution because they fail to achieve some of their goals.

Lets see some facts here.
1) Lack of knowledge on the goal being pursued. (For e.g. weight loss program; just starving does not help you achieve your goals. You end up putting back what you have lost. Again, the 80:20 principle. 80% of people put back what they have lost.)
2) Attitude. We have no prediction as to what the following year may hold for us but we must have a positive attitude to see it through.
3) Responsibility. Taking full responsibility for your actions. If you are on a weight loss program, don’t blame the parties and holidays that you have to contend with.
With this I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and all the success in your goals for 2009!

My best Fren last day in Deloitte.
October 15th 2008, my best fren's (SY) last day in Deloitte. I wishes her all the best of luck and I love you & miss you much. :)ChOp UR HeAD!!!!
If one day, out of sudden your boss come to your front and tell you "YOU make sure you have done your work properly or I will CHOP your HEAD!"
What’s come to your mind at that time you listen it?
I think, for me, my mind will keep visualizing ‘oh my god! My head is going to be chopping it down!’ ‘What should I do?’ ‘How am I supposed to do?’ ‘I will die at such a young age?’ I felt my life is being threatened.
Henry, a well performed staff encountered this, he felt his life is being threatened; it turns to worst when he neither sleep well nor eat well because the words keep appearing it on his mind. His mind, his emotion, his soul keep distracting HIM and his health start deteriorating and it affects his daily performance of work.
He has no choice, He has to choose to quit from what he is doing and seek medication and psychotherapy and hopefully it does HELP!
What you learn from the above facts?
Moral of the Story:-
Whether the boss’s words are as mere jokes or it’s actually a serious instruction to you.
I think this is a very irresponsible and rude manner!
The emotional language used could be seen as terrorists in a manner of speaking!
It’s an insult that cannot be forgive and forget!
We must allow for human error.
It affects ones physically and emotionally!
Being a boss, shouldn’t it be showing the qualities of leadership and to guide through rather than speaking such rough language to your subordinate!!!
If you “the boss” think you are always right; then you are wrong!
The quality of being humanity should be in everyone’s heart.
It’s totally unacceptable and unforgiveable!!
