New Year Resolution

Well it’s that time of the year we pen down our list of things we want to achieve for the following year. Most people after sometime, give up on their new year resolution or recycle last year’s resolution because they fail to achieve some of their goals.

So why they fail ?

Lets see some facts here.

1) Lack of knowledge on the goal being pursued. (For e.g. weight loss program; just starving does not help you achieve your goals. You end up putting back what you have lost. Again, the 80:20 principle. 80% of people put back what they have lost.)
2) Attitude. We have no prediction as to what the following year may hold for us but we must have a positive attitude to see it through.
3) Responsibility. Taking full responsibility for your actions. If you are on a weight loss program, don’t blame the parties and holidays that you have to contend with.
